Just venting , I found out I had type2 back at the end of February with BG Lev's in the high teens. Obviously this came as a shock and i tried on the advice of Dr to change my lifestyle. For the last five weeks I have done just this and brought my levels down to between 5.4 and 7.5 i have also dropped around 14kg and walk for an hour everyday. I have cut out sugar and potato,rice,takeaways ect and had already quit the drink six months ago. i am really enjoying the fish and other alternatives to junk food and was feeling really good and was happy to continue, new healthy me ect. This morning I went to the drs and as told even if I carry on I will still probably suffer with issues later on and need medication also still need to lose around 20kg for proper weight, this has put a bit of a dent in my enthusiasm to be honest and although I still have gone for the salad lunch it all seems a bit flat.Hoping my walk tonight will cheer me up as usual. I used to love my food and eat as much as I could of everything am trying hard not to really go for it today haha
