This is a new one on me. My daughter tested blood at lunchtime and she was 5.2. She tested again 25 mins later and sage was 2.9! Bit of a shock. Maybe the fast decline was the reason for her over reaction about not wanting bread for lunch!!

Is this quick drop in bg usual?

We get this from time to time. Sometimes he will test thinking he's hypo and find it's in the 5's or 6's, then 20-30 minutes later it will be down in the 3's, so his hypo feeling was connected with the speed he was dropping. Did your daughter do anything particularly energetic this morning?

Thanks for your reply. Ironically we were at clinic all this morning! She did behave a bit strangely over the bread for lunch incident, but as you say it may be because she was dropping fast.
I wasn't aware she levels could drop so sharply. Will have to keep an eye out for that.
