I ended 2024 strong, weight loss wise, having lost 1st 7.5lbs since 18th Nov. Pretty proud of that seen as my birthday, Christmas and a dinner out all took place in December. Plenty that could have derailed me, but didn’t.

Unfortunately my run of no side effects from Metformin may have ended. My unfortunate incident involving post-cocktail poops left me feeling sick all night and I haven’t felt quite right since. Upset tum again today - so feeling a little sorry for myself. I can’t understand it as I had done so well with metformin for the first month. Maybe it’s a blip. I have got some electrolytes and some yakult to help with my gut flora - hopefully that will help. I am normally someone with an iron gut so this is a very weird situation for me .

On a positive note, I went back to the gym today and got some good strength training in.

Hope everyone has a great 2025 and meets all their health goals.

You've done so well with your weight loss @Katetype2 so congratulations for that!!
What's your next interim weight loss target?

Sorry to hear about your tum. Hopefully you'll be back to feeling your usual self pronto. 🙂
