Well done Steff, it's about time you had some good news about your diabetes. I'll join in your race to get a result under 7% too!

Hi all well my mystery appointment went really well , i got in there to see the nurse only to be told this is mrs Robinson she is a specialist in diabetes and she has come to take your hbA1c it can be done on the spot and no waiting around has anyone else ever had this done??? So anyway my hbA came back as 7.0 lowest i have ever achieved is 7.2 and last time i had it done i was 8.4 so i have no idea how this has happened but anyway it was a pleasent surprise,as wel as this she took my weight i have lost 8 lbs and she talked me through my byetta as well and mentioned to me about the sickeness which i said had passed so anyway to cut a long story short im seeing the GP on the 18th were we will be discussing my byetta and weight x

hi when graham goes to the clinic he is having the result straight away i thought everybody would do it like this

well done 🙂 when you get a good result like that it really spurs you on to carry on and it makes all the hard work worthwhile 🙂

Well done Staff, glad the side effects are on the wane, and good test results.

On the immediate HBA1C figs i am always amazed why the surgery has to send the blood off for them, but the hosiptal clinic (diabetes special) can do them straight away. I guess it must be machinery costs.

Keep it up, your results are better than mine. I came down from 9.6 pre byetta to 8.6, so on the way, but further to go!

That's fantastic news Steff - wow 8lb is brill x
