Hi all well my mystery appointment went really well , i got in there to see the nurse only to be told this is mrs Robinson she is a specialist in diabetes and she has come to take your hbA1c it can be done on the spot and no waiting around has anyone else ever had this done??? So anyway my hbA came back as 7.0 lowest i have ever achieved is 7.2 and last time i had it done i was 8.4 so i have no idea how this has happened but anyway it was a pleasent surprise,as wel as this she took my weight i have lost 8 lbs and she talked me through my byetta as well and mentioned to me about the sickeness which i said had passed so anyway to cut a long story short im seeing the GP on the 18th were we will be discussing my byetta and weight x

Brilliant results. Lower hba1c and weight loss, you should be really proud of yourself!

My clinic do the hba1c there and then. You see the nurse first who takes the blood then wait about another 40 mins to see the consultant, and by then they have all the results. It makes the appointments quite lenghty but you only have to go in once.

Well done again

:D:D:D:D

WELL DONE STEFF! :D

That's fantastic - you should be so proud of all you've achieved there :D

**HUGS**

I dont think I deserve it though hun i really am in genuine shock , she said my bp was high she took it and it was 153/80 but then said we will retake it and this time i wont chat to you and it was 137.🙄

Yeah i said to her wow i did'nt even know you could have an instant hbA but nevertheless made up for the 45 minutes i had to wait to see her.

That's brilliant steff, weight loss is so hard so losing 8lb must have been difficult I'm very jealous 😉

The hba1c is a huge reduction too so well done, you should be very proud of yourself so give yourself a pat on the back for working so hard :D

Steff I am so pleased for you and glad to hear that the sickness has passed. The results musy have really given you a boost - I know it has been a struggle to get the meds you needed - bit of a slap in the face for the medics that it has worked so well 😉 Hope it continues for you - if you go up to the 10 mg dose after the month is up, you may get a few symptoms return but don't panic - they should be slight and pass quickly.

Well done to you:D
