It's mainly at the end of the day when I am getting sleepy.

My face has been twitching, mainly on the cheek bone and round the eye on the right hand side where I had the Bell's palsy earlier in the year. I'm pretty certain it is because I get so sleepy atthe end of the day but could it also be an after effect of the Bells' palsy?

Hiya I just found this on the web and looks like prob and after effect which will go away soon. Your nerves are repairing themselves around that area. Some people take longer than others. My grandad had this and from what i can remember he had something similar afterwards. Also to be honest i get the odd random eye twitch and I know of others that get this when tired. Nothing to be concerned about🙂

Funny you should mention this. I had a stroke 2 years ago and get a sort of muscle twitch on the one side of my face when I'm tired. Strangely it's the opposite side to that which was affected but I guess it's all inter-connected. Probably a similar thing.

Under my right eye I get a twitch especially when im tired

Sorry that I can't advise but I hope that it feels better soon
