Anyone tried Ezekiel bread? I’ve ordered some so not had a chance to test it on bg

Far too high in carbs for me.

I haven't, but according to the nutrition panel it's 15g carbohydrate per slice, which is on a par with some wholegrain breads. Let us know how you get on.
I will let you know how I get on. I know it’s quite high in carbs so will see if it’s worth it!

I doubt that the carbs in flour made out of sprouted grain is any better in terms of diabetes than non-sprouted - and no way Pedro would I ever spend that much on a loaf - no loaf ever is worth that amount of money!

Prefer to spend my hard won dosh on food that's far more nutritious and therefore better for anyone's health, than bread.

This post caught my eye due to this bread having the same name as a book in the Bible. The book of Ezekiel is seriously psychedelic and this made me wonder if eating Ezekiel bread would cause me to have spectacularly wierd visions.

It is the instructions in Ezekiel 4 9 which prompted experimentation with the ingredients listed there. I think there is millet, spelt, barley, peas and beans - all good stuff but likely to be a bit heavy.

Sounds like healthy bread.

Been buying polish sourdough bread for some time now, can taste difference & spiking is much reduced compared to standard bread.
