Hi, no, I haven't had any problems with blurring. I've had about 4 appointments now (every 4 months) at the eye hospital and they've told me it is 'stable' - hasn't got any worse, but they always tell me to contact them immediately if anything does happen. So, I would definitely get it looked into, and as @AJLang suggested, an optician may not have the specialist equipment that they use for this sort of problem at the Eye Department.@Northerner , sorry for popping in on an old post but it came up on a search I performed on the macula....
I have just had letter a few weeks back saying fluid has been spotted in my right eye after the last two years being mild maculopathy....
no treatment was needed and going back in 3 months and this was fine as there was no visual impairments.....
for the last two days however my right eye has had a slight blur, its mild, its more like a slight offset of things like car head lights and street lights.....
I'm pretty worried and I know I probably don't need to be..I have booked in to the local opticians for a further check to see if it has got worse or needs treatment.....
did you have any similar blur issues with your eyes....?
Hope it's just temporary and nothing to worry about - I do understand how you feel, because you don't really know what to expect.
Let us know how you get on 🙂
