Due to have cataract surgery shortly. Does anyone know what effect this can have on blood sugars?

It didn't affect mine at all. Enjoy the new found colours you didn't know were missing 🙂

Didn't affect mine either.

Very straight forward, quick, painless operation. Much improved sight afterwards.

The only tough bit was keeping the area dry (eg showering was interesting) for a few days.

Colours are back to what they should be, brightness and contrast significantly improved.

Let us know how you get on.

Good luck

None at all, you will be amazed at the improvement it will make to your vision

None at all. The tricky bit was the time between the first and second as I had normal vision in the sorted eye and was short sighted in the other (2.0).

Thanks for starting this thread. I am booked in for my cataracts to be done in Oct and then in Nov.
I am looking forward to seeing those brighter colours.
