Had my letter from DESP to make an appointment. I am 2 years overdue because of the covid situation.
I am finding the http://https//appointments.eyehosted.net/BSW is not loading, page can't be reached and so I tried to telephone and the wait time was 24 minutes! I guess I just have to keep trying for a shorter wait time on the telephone.

I wandering if others have had the same difficulty trying to achieve online appointment booking?

I understand the last 3 letters in the address may vary depending which area is covered.

That URL looks off which maybe the reason why it is not loading - you do not need http:// and https//
Does https://appointments.eyehosted.net/BSW take you to the page you want? It loads something which looks promising

Not loading for me either. My local service just send out appointments.

Ditto here in November 2022.

Using the url in the letter http://https//appointments.eyehosted.net/Surrey I get to the change appointment page using my pin number. I select the preferred centre. Then I just get a pure blank white page... Repeatedly...

Clearly everything Doctors say about the useless NHS IT system is correct.!

So I phoned and the helpful (not) operative at the screening programme for Surrey. Who said no alternative appointments available until March 2023 (infering not a single person had cancelled or changed a single appointment...?)

So useless and so unhelpful

I phone mine.
Yes, you have to wait, but I just put the phone on speaker, they answer eventually and are super helpful then.
