Eye appointment tomorrow. Obviously I'm hoping for a positive outcome but there is a high chance that they may suggest laser surgery, which is only available privately, or surgery which could potentially lead to sight loss. Particularly worrying because it is my "good" eye which is most at risk.

I'm sure it will all go well, and you'll get there to find there was nothing to worry about after all.

I hope your appointment goes well AJLang, I'll make sure to send you lots of positive vibes 🙂
xx

Fingers firmly crossed for you. I hope all goes well.

Thanks everyone. I just don't know what I am going to say if I get told you have two options a) let the glaucoma gradually erode your sight and any sight you lose will not be reversible b) have an operation - it could lead to irreversible sight loss and will probably need to be repeated in a few years. I can't wait for this appointment to be over - but even if tomorrow is ok this scenario could arise at appointments every six months.

Fingers crossed Amanda.

Thanks Alison. I'm starting to calm down now about the appointment🙂

I will be thinking of you tomorrow and keeping my fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Thanks Newbs
