Well I guess he likes to be precise!I think he was thinking of maybe a curry night- when he does fill his boots!. Is the novo 3 demi not had great reviews?- We have got novo4 pens from dx - I prefer half pens and he does I guess

I looked it up and the Demi goes up to 35 units. I've never had a dose that exceeds the capacity of any pen I've owned, for me it would be somewhere in the region of 350g carbs for a dose of 30+, and with high doses I find they don't work as accurately anyway, so would do two injections 🙂 Although I probably couldn't eat that much at one sitting! 😱
 
I'm very fussy when it comes to my insulin pens. Hated the Autopen and had two of them break on me.

These are my two current weapons of choice:

Eli Lilly Humapen Luxura HD - reusable, sturdy metal and does half units for my Humalog

Sanofi ClikStar - reusable, plastic, but sturdier and more reliable than Autopen. Single units only for my Lantus
