After all of last weeks blood tests I've been told that my ESR is 35 and needs to be tested again in a fortnight. Does anyone know what an ESR of 35 means? Should I be worried?

Thanks Alan. You're right it does look on the high side. Not sure if I'm pleased or not. Pleased as in I told the GP that I wasn't feeling well and she was dismissive. Not pleased if it means that there is something wrong that can't be treated easily. I've just phoned the surgery back and I'm to have the repeat test on October 28th

Yes, I can understand, not sure how I would feel about it either. I hope that it is something that can be easily treated, although I can appreciate you are rattling already with your meds. But I suppose it would be better if it means you get your energy back - will keep fingers crossed for you 🙂

Thanks Alan....must admit that I've spent too much of today worrying about what the result may mean
