Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I am 72 and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes 20 years ago.
Despite controlling my blood glucose levels well - I am on Humalog and Lantus insulin injections - I suffer from erectile dysfunction, which has got progressively worse over that time.
To those of you who also suffer, I extend my most heartfelt sympathies; it is probably one the most distressing complications of diabetes, both physically and mentally.
I have tried all of the medications available on prescription - Viagra, Cialis and Levitra, and none of them seem to work. I have tried medications only available on private prescription - Vitaros and Tadalafil daily - with no success either.
But here’s the good news: I’ve now found a solution that works for me, and it’s not medication; it’s not herbal.

No, you should say that diabetes may contribute to ED by damaging your nerves and blood vessels. It's not inevitable - I've been T1 for 24 years and I haven't got any diabetic damage to my nerves and blood vessels. Nor have I got ED. And I'm not unique - far from it.
