Hi lucy - I expect tears are a mixture of relief and frustration at your experiences! Glad you are already feeling a bit more positive. Use the stay in hospital as a well-earned rest - take lots of nice mags or books and have a good rest while you're there!

Buy a kindle and load it with books Lucy, glad to see you will be receiving some treatment xx

Lucy don't worry about the tears, people cry when they are happy, cry when they are sad and cry from relief.

You were just relieved that your struggle with people not believing you had come to an end (or at least that's how I would interpret things)

Just take care of yourself and make sure you carry hypo treatments everywhere just in case.

Thank you again everyone.

Just to add my belated best wishes Lucy. Pleased you found someone who could give you some answers. Not quite the end of the road but at least you've been given the map of the route !! :D

Rob

Thank you Robster. I think relief is now setting in that i now know i am not imagining everything. Its a shame it took 3 months of foot stamping, but as you say I am at the start of a new road that will lead somewhere better hiopefully.

Foot stamping has done the trick Lucy. Glad you appoinment went well and you are now going to get the treatment you need to resolve this problem once and for all.

And then its onwards and upwards for you :D

Thank you Sheilagh.

I am so sorry but i cannot remember what the condition is caused. I remember hearing insulin resistance but there was other stuff as well such as insulinoma?

I will let you all know how i get on and what the condition is called - can't believe i can't remember but there was so much to take in.

Hello Lucy,
there is a support group and forum on insulinoma ...
