Ending a toxic friendship

Today i had to end a toxic friendship. We had been friends for about 6 years. Its always been one sidered. with me doing all the running and caring like me she lets call her ann not her real name. shes mentally ill like me. its always been from her a poor me aptitude and she always needs peoples pity The cruck came when i was hearing voices and told her about it she turned round and said im hearing voices only mine are really bad and worse than yours for f~~ks sake its not a competition to see whos the illest not at all. its got so its affecting my mental health So i made the decision to end it i took the cowards way and texed her asking her not to call/txt me as it was toxic for my mental hearlth She replyed im ill to i wish you and ####### would leave me alone nobody cares about me So i have blocked her number and txts Im glad i did it so why do i feel so bad about it

Sometimes you have to do what is right for you. But the end of a friendship is never an easy thing.

Don’t feel bad about it. If there was no shared growth from the “friendship” encounters. You’ve done yourself a favour. There are more enriching people to meet out there.
