Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I've been a type 2 for about 12 years now and been off medication for 6 years roughly, had my last check up 3 weeks ago n they said everything is really good, but I keep having really bad hypo's when ever I do any exercise, even if it's swimming or just doing general stuff in the garden and they say there is nothing they can do to help with that....any suggestions please?

Simple solution would be to have a snack before you exercise. 🙂

But why do you think it's happening all of a sudden, I never used to have this problem, carb or sugar snacks do you think woud be best?

Well carb if you're doing more than literally a couple of minutes - maybe something like a cereal bar that could release it's carbs a bit gradually, rather than hitting you like a ton of bricks, which sugar would ?

But why do you think it's happening all of a sudden,
Hi Shirley, obviously non of us would have any idea as to what is going on with you so your best bet is to go talk to your GP and if he's no help ask for a 2nd opinion. Obviously try the extra snacks before you do so and if they don't work then ask for a hospital referral.

Hello to you Shirley.
