any one else suffer from this ...what can help !!

Hi Am64,

My Ex used to get this - its caused by stress and he was given something called 'fucibet' from the GP's which always cleared it quickly.🙂Bev

Hmm Bev, Betnovate cream - steroid. May help but watch your BGs with anything steroid.

see what your GP can offer, but in the mean time I always find a little olive oil helps, you can get small bottles in places like Boots, SUperdrugs and some independent pharmacies.

I have - i used to go to ear nurse who put Betnovate in, but it never lasted long before my ears were itchy again.
The GP now prescribed SYNALAR cream (it's a potent steroid), which works really well. I only have to use it 2 -3 days and it's all fine for quite a while.

I suffer from this and wear hearing aids and it drives me insane. The hearing aids make it worse because of the heat they keep in, I then suffer from increased ear wax as I scratch (when asleep in bed) which then blocks up my ears so my hearing gets even worse - it's catch 22!!

I have fucibet for my eczema and its really good
