Hi all,
I am in the pre-diabetes phase (measured 42 on a blood test recently). This is all new to me!

I love my easiyo yoghurt maker and have gone through many of the flavours over the years. Over on the newbies thread, they were very helpful in explaining to me how it was the carbohydrates I should be looking out for. I’ve just been looking at the easiyo yoghurts and I can’t fathom out if any of them are OK for me!

Can anyone help please?

Hi Steph, I've had a look on their website and they do reduced sugar ones.
Strawberry reduced sugar "Sweet enough strawberry" has 77 calories and 8.9g of carbs per 100g
and
Greek style natural is 85 calories and 6.7g of carbs per 100g

If you look at buying Greek yogurt (plain, in a pot) from a supermarket, Sainsbury's greek style yogurt, is 107 calories and 4.2g of carbs per 100g, but then you'd add some fruit or nuts to give it some flavour. So if you added 25g of blueberries, it'd add 17 calories and 3.5g of carbs, so it's not massively different from the reduced sugar strawberry (7.8g of carbs for supermarket bought, plus blueberries, compared to 8.9 for reduced sugar).

So maybe try the "Sweet enough" range (they do 3 flavours), or make Greek style and add your own fruit (blueberries/strawberries/raspberries/blackberries).

Of course, if you're a cheapskate like me, you'd look into using the Easyyo kit to make your own and then bunging in your own berries and some sweetener.
 
I used to make yoghurt using a large jam jar and the pilot light on my cooker - it is very simple to do, but I am not sure how the cost compares these days - back then it was just about free.
