My eardrum has perforated, burst, I have never felt pain this bad before. Saw my gp this morning. She said the antibiotics should start to work tonight or tomorrow. My hubby stayed home with me today and he is so worried about me, he is staying home tomorrow too.

Ouch that does sound painfull 😱 Have you got plenty of pain killers?
Sounds as if bed and a nice warm heat pad be the order of the day for you.
Hope things improve soon for you.

Oh sounds dreadful. Hope it improves soon take care x

Must be nasty for you. :(

Have had a quick read and it says they usually heal ok in a few weeks without problems but doesn't help you right now. Hope the pain goes very soon.

Oooh poor you. I remember having that when I was about 16. Never forgot the pain. Hope you feel better soon and don't rush around for a while.

I hope you feel better soon. When I get anything wrong with my ears, I find it helps to keep them warm. Even when there is nothing wrong with them in winter I still keep them warm.

Ouch as you say. I hope it heals soon, have they given you any pain killers?

Oh no, I hope the pain goes away quickly for you. This happened to my mum a few weeks back and the antibiotics did sort it out but don't be alarmed if you have hearing loss for quite a few weeks, mum did and her hearing has returned to normal. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh no. I hope you will feel better soon.

Ditto for me when I was 10. The only relief I got was with a hot water bottle. I hope you get better soon.
