Welcome to the forum
Would you like to say a bit more about your diagnosis, I assume your HbA1C is fairly high since you have been prescribed some medication. I think there are a number of alternatives but have you also been given any dietary advise as that can be equally as powerful as medication.

Hi I have been on Dulaglutide 3mg injection for the last 2 years and have had good control with diet and exercise its just frustrating to discover that this medication is no longer available I'm asking if anyone else is in my same position and what has been prescribed in place of Dulaglutide . I have been diabetic Type 2 since 2002 I managed for 8 years on diet and exercise but then had to start medication

Just looking it up it looks as if it is a shortage/supply issue rather than it actually being discontinued as such, there have been a few questions here recently as people have experienced not being able to get it from their pharmacy.

Thank you my chemist has told my drs that it will not be able to get this medication again . I have tried other chemist and they all say the same, may be its the area I live in

Sorry to hear you have got tangled up in the meds shortages @Chris 17

Initially it was just the GLP Analogues, but the shortages have gone on so long, and people have been moved onto alternatives that some of those are in short supply too :(

DUK posted this about the shortages some weeks back
