Must be hard work peeing all that water out on the Frusemide tablets, Malturn. It's a sign that you need that new valve soonest. It's good that the medication is helping, but you don't want to be on it for too long, you'll get potassium depleted. Eat bananas.

Thanks .Yes we both eat plenty of bananas😉 We are both on Ferusamide now so it is a race to get to the loo first during the morning. Unfortunatly if my wife gets on her stairlift first I have to wait with my legs crossed untill she get to the top of the stars before I can get up there😳
 
So sorry to hear you're struggling Maltern - what a horrible experience for you to go through - you have a good and caring GP there so I hope she can use her medical expertise & persuasion to have your appointment brought forward. Please take care (((hugs)))
