Sorry your sensor took a tumble @Sugarcoated, and i can completely understand why you were concerned.

But like others, I’m sure you will be fine.

Hope it didn’t out you in too much of a spin and you've been able to relax about it a bit now.

It probably will. The problem is that we can't, and probably most folk can't, put hard plastics to be recycled. I don't think it's beyond the wit of man given a boot up the bum to develop a system that is capable of grinding hard plastic and attached metals and then separating metals and plastics and recycling them.
