Sugar free irn bru
sachet of options or cadbury highlights hot chocolate
Cup of coffee, dash of milk, prefer it with double cream (none in the house)
can of lager (maybe)
another cup of coffee
Hi Kaylz
I drink loads of tea and coffee thought the day as well as water to keep myself hydrated.
I avoid sugary drinks, and when I drink alcohol it is in moderation.
I know that ll sounds boring but I have found it makes things easier to manage.
Yuck guys sorry just can't stand tea haha I love my coffee and ever more so now - came out the hospital still having 2 sugars, 2 days later was seeing DSN and she didn't want me to leave without eating and having a drink she cut me down to 1 sugar 4 hours later i said to my mum I'll try without omg it was so much better felt like I'd been missing out haha x
I'm a coffee fiend as well. I haven't had sugar in it since I was diagnosed. Also have water or sugar free fizz or squash (unless it's a hypo!) Hydration is important whether diabetic or not.

I'm not keen on tap water so flavoured it is haha I could drink more coffee but since being diagnosed I've managed to stay in my bed all night without a loo visit and I'm kinda liking that so will stick to it unless it's cold and i need the extra heat well that's the excuse I'll use 🙂
I am a "Teaholic" any flavour & when at work half a spoon of sugar keeps me right. I work in different places everyday as an Electrician & like builders tea
4 bottles of water. Don't feel the need for anything else. I do like an Earl Grey with lemon if I'm in a cafe or on holiday. I also like Gin and Slimline Tonic if I'm having a night on the tiles.
Tap water that is, I ain't paying for water! I refill my bottles with the best the Lake District provides. 🙂
Water, Black coffee, Green tea. I will indulge alcohol a bit over Christmas but in moderation. Fizzy drinks were my downfall, not had one since diagnosis and feel far less lethargic and tired.
A big mug of coffee with my brekky, a can of Lilt Zero lunchtime, water and sparkling water throughout the day , sometimes I have a big mug of coffee later on.
