I joined about 1 hr ago after a terrible 4 days and blood tests this morning and already i am feeling better...thank you i will now carry on browsing

As everyone above has said, it's all trial and error. There are some drinks I tend to avoid though - a night on high-carb Guinness is a diabetic-nightmare! So I tend to stick to wine - which isn't much of a problem.

Not being shy, I tend to check my BG in the pub in front of everyone. But as soon as I get my meter out everyone starts clamouring for a go, so you spend ten minutes checking everyone's BGs! This is fun until you finally find someone with a BG reading in the 20's, then it's less fun ;-)

It's god send for sure! Glad you found it! Welcome aboard.

Used to live of guiness haven't had much of it for a while, cheers for the warning! Sticking to wine I agree is good, but can be a problem, depends how many bottles there are!!😛

Sticking to wine I agree is good, but can be a problem, depends how many bottles there are!!😛

I have this problem with wine too. I only ever have one glass though . . . i just top it up a lot 😛
