Shopping tomorrow still label reading! Dietician has recommended my father had something like yoghurt at night (remember we don't know what his BG is as we still can't test - frustrated) she had recommended pots of the weight watchers or similar which I bought but then read Dr Oetker was much better.
I bought the Natura Fat Free one as the others had fruit added I read the labels and found the carb content was the least in the Natura.

I was checking through my box of labels lol and read the Weight Watchers which I had stopped buying have actually less carbs then Dr O's
Natura has 6.3 per 100grms
W/Watchers Mango or Pineapple 4.6 per 100grms
W/Watchers Summer Fruit layered Fromage Frais 5.6 or 5.8 (depending on flavour)

I had stopped buying Watchers thinking Dr O would be better is there a difference making Dr O better over all or am I best to buy the ones which the lowest overall carbs (I know I wish we could test)

Testing is the best way as we don't know if he needs the yoghurt and now I have learned more he may be better with nuts or something with lower GI.
Have listed this to ask in April when we see the dietician again as she was the one to advise on a snack at night which he didn't have before diagnosis!

When I had a meeting with dietician last month told do not touch Weight Watchers Yoghurts as up to 4 teaspoon of sugar in each pot. I started Experts patients course Monday and told check the sugar content on all low fat yoghurts as low fat tend to be high in sugar. Must check when I go for food shop.
