Unfortunately, he was found dead Apparently, it was an accident.

I’ve just read that @Martin.A all they’re saying he’s been dead a few days. Very sad but inevitable outcome. When we were in Symi it was only mid May and it was 40c. We were only there three days as we combined it with a stay in Rhodes, and we went out walking at 5/6am and got back for breakfast at 8am. I can easily see how anyone could be overwhelmed by the heat.

The BBC says the body was only 30 yards from the beach so all these other reports seem rather odd but then his wife said the CCTV was not him.

Reports coming in that they've found a body, but they haven't said it's him.

Yes, just heard on news!! I think it's likely that it's him but he would have to be identified by his poor family before they confirm
