Had to chuckle at this. Got up and dosed for breakfast. Just checked to see how long ago my prebolus was and spotted this hilarious example of FOTF / DP.

I do have a cold, which may be contributing at last (it wasn’t earlier) but good grief!

I've no idea what FOTF / DP stands for but I've being getting that kind of thing a lot recently. I don't use a pump but it still seems odd.

Fotf is "foot on the floor", a version of Dawn Phenomenon (DP) that happens when you get out of bed - put you first foot on the floor.
This is when our "helpful" liver dumps glucose to give us energy to start the day.
I believe this happens for most people but without diabetes their insulin response minimises the BG spike.
Why do you think a pump would make a difference to this spike?

Ooo er. Quite a step up, but as you say your cold could also be contributing.
I hope the cold is brief.

Interesting to see that step in the red line at the bottom of your target range.
I am in ‘change sensor mode’ at present so can’t check mine. Is this reflecting the targets you have in your manual mode? I have never noticed it before.
 
If my FotF stayed below 11 I'd consider that a success! 🙂

This is more likely to happen with me on a work day? Though, only by 3mmol?
 
If it’s the cold that’s going round at the moment that’s actually some kind of mutant boomerang virus, then that would explain things. It’s horrible and can cause mad highs.

Just goes to show that HCL has it's limitations.

I too have that cold virus and struggling to shift it. Better one day, worse the next. It seems to be sending me high right through the night now, but before that I was having a spell of nocturnal hypos. It just doesn't play nicely!

It’s my ‘low alert’ line. I use it to keep an eye on whether my BG is falling too steeply for Deep Thought to catch. But overnight my daytime 4.8 was giving me some unnecessary alerts so I dropped it to 4.4 which helped. Smartguard’s target isn’t affected, it’s just my ‘belt and braces’

I have just tried to put in two different low alerts and can’t make it move to the next time period
Is this an alert on low or an alert before low
 
It’s alert on low in Alert Settings > Low Alert > Low Setup

Thanks @everydayupsanddowns It required me to go through lots of warnings as I set each part then it did not enable me to save it. Operator error most likely, so need to have mother go when I have more time.
I may be back with more questions.
