Would it be worth keeping them somewhere separate? Bolus on/near the meal table. Basal somewhere else more associated with when you take it?

You would nk I’d realise that my Basal was in a blue pen and bolus in a red one but hey ho

I really can’t believe my Libre line today . I have had no more insulin since breakfast and had a nice big bowl of homemade thick stew for dinner no idea of the carbs as I made a huge amount for freezing but I would normally have 3 units of Novorapid
This is my graph . I injected 15 units of basal instead of 4.5

I wished mine looked like that too. I think my liver must have put in a sterling effort to counteract all that Basal
