I'm sorry to hear this Gail :( Can you think of any reason why it's so high? Hope things settle soon 🙂

Oh gail so sorry to hear of your problems, I hope you are feeling better this evening, take care, lots of love Sheena xxxx

Can you get to see your GP tomorrow? You may have another infection that needs treating.

Keep up your fluids as you don't want to get dehydrated - but if you feel really awful try a drop in centre of NHS direct.

Sorry to hear you're feeling so grotty Gail. Keep the fluids up and take care. Seek help if there's no improvement soon. XXXXX

saw a docter this morning it appears i have an infection combine this with bad chest and its arghhhhhh

Hopefully the Dr has given you something for the infection and when that kicks in your blood sugars should improve. In the meantime make sure to keep your fluids up.

nag nag nag (that's me ...)

nag away hunnie its nice to know that people care

Hope you feel better soon Gail, I've had DKA too many times to count and really wouldn't wish it on anyone. As has already been said though, keep your fluids up and you should be OK, though I'd possibly suggest having a banana to increase your potassium levels a little too as they drop significantly if you are starting to go into DKA which contributes to the effects.
