I have been carefully adhering to the government advice and staying at home. I control my diabetes with diet and exercise and am aware that my blood glucose has not been quite as good as it should be because I can only exercise once a day for an hour. This is with my dogs and as anyone with a male dog knows weemails must be read by him. Today I met a doctor and his wife whom I know and he said that the exercise once a day is for guidance only and that provided I stay 2 metres from other people I could go out for more exercise. There are lots of open spaces where I could go. What do others think? An extra period of brisk walking would be so good.
