Did i inject my basal into muscle?

Evening all, a little tad to high over night but pretty much a straight line then i inject my basal and down we go, down almost 2 mmol in an hour, i knocked of a whole unit for breakfast as a precaution as not sure what was going on. Expected a huge spike and didnt get one. Did i catch muscle when i injected for it to take off like that? Knocked a unit of for lunch afain exoected a huge spike and it hasn't happened. Bearing in mind i injected at just gone 6 am and levemir can take 6-8 hours to reach peak so ive just read
