I've just had the most awful migraine with aura which is still really painful. I know that I've made a mistake by taking ibuprofen, naproxen and diamox at once but the pain is awful. I can't find anything about diamox on the web and there is no patient information leaflet. Does anyone know what the side effects are

Sorry, I don't know of most of these! I only had some new ones the other day and is a headache in itself to figure out what is safe! I can't see the link from Alan as at work but if concerned there is always a call to the NHS who should be able to help?

An hour into your post and I hope the pills have kicked in now rather than feeling like you've been kicked in the head!🙄

Actually that's a good point - a local pharmacist should be able to advise on combinations and possible effects (although mine is often so busy it would be a half hour wait at least to speak to her!)

Thanks Alan and Suze don't think I was thinking straight when I took the Diamox.....have now realised that it's a glaucoma treatment not a painkiller. Have also taken paracetamol as well as the painkillers😱 but am pleased to say that the pain is now down to a dull throb behind my eye......but

Gs have gone up to 15.7 for no reason and I feel lousy. OH has come home to work so he can keep an eye on me whilst I hide under duvet
