Welcome to the forum mini. Glad that you have joined us.
What prompted the new diagnosis? I know with LADA it is the slow onset that means people are still in possession of some beta cells when diagnosed, so often get confused for T2 and often manage for a while. It is so different for each individuals.
Now that you have the correct diagnosis what insulins you are using?
Have they started you in carb counting?
Keep in touch and come back with any questions that you have.
We have a fair few LADA’s and late-developing T1s on the forum to compare notes with. Sorry to hear that you were mis-classified initially. Hope that didn’t cause you too much upset and grief.
Let us know how you are getting on and if you have any questions or confusions 🙂
