Hi,

Have just come across an advert for above. Says 'comprehensive daily supplement with 21 nutrients, with chromium, which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Available Boots, Holland & Barrett, etc. '.

Has anyone ever heard of them or does anyone use them ?

Helen

I have heard of them, but I wouldn't bother with them personally Helen - I usually think that if they were so good for people with diabetes then the doctors would be prescribing them for us 🙂

Chromium is good for bumpers:D

Supplements are good for the manufacturers, seldom any good for anyone else. When I cleared out my mothers flat after her death I found she spent more on supplements than she did on food, so fat lot of good they did her.

I firmly believe that if we make sure we have a good balanced diet then supplements shouldn't be required. Having said that, I do take an iron tonic from time to time because of the anaemia, and extra vitamin C if I have a cold, but that's all.
