Hi all,
This might seem like a silly question. Wondered what you feel like when you are not feeling well with diabetes Type 2. Thanks

Depends on what’s wrong.

For me if my blood glucose is way too high I can pretty much awful. My heart races, my eyesight is impacted, I can feel incredibly faint and desperately desperately thirsty.
If it’s too low then I’m freezing cold and can often have a pounding headache.

Of course that’s all a response to a dramatic and sudden change in sugar levels and if it’s gradual then it’s fine.

What’s up for you at the moment that prompted the question?

No questions are silly here @Woodside

And appropriately, this has the classic forum answer of “well... that depends” 🙂

Illness or injury can cause BG to increase, so as @ColinUK says, that can mean thirst, headache, lethargy and sluggishness.

Plus you can get all the feelings of whatever the illness is I guess?
