Not if Diabetes UK are right, it seems!

If they added 10 years to your age they were saying your body was 10 years older than your chronological age because of your diabetes and were thereby calculating that your life expectancy was 10 years less than a non-diabetic of the same age as you :confused:

Presumably the premiums were loaded accordingly ?
 
Thanks, everyone, for your replies. I am so glad to see that the information is old and due to poor treatment. I am aiming for the 100, and card from the reigning queen/king hahahaha.

Yes, that's how I interpreted it as well. And yes, the premiums were loaded, however if they were going by what Diabetes UK said then they'd have added 20 years on to my age, not 10!
