Do you feel you have the right information, skills and support from your diabetes healthcare team to enable you to look after your own diabetes?

This could be anything from having access to diabetes education to receiving emotional support.

Your views are important to us and we'd would like to know about what you think about the level of support you receive.

Can you spare 5 to complete this survey and let us know about your experiences?

🙂

Already done it, shame there wasn't more options to tick or a box at the end to voice your opinions

Done it, didn't think it was up to much though. Like Laura, I felt a place to voice an opinion would have been good.

Just completed the survey.

I think it could have done with more specific questions

done.

yes, it was all very leading - for example q's about where you get your advice from - i had to tick consultants simply because Dr Gallan et al's advice last weekend was invaluable. However, for the last 23 years my consultants have been, quite frankly, {insert expletive of your choice here}.... 😡. That may misguidedly indicate that consultants are helpful across the piece whe in actual fact, the scenario varies vastly across the country.

After reading the comments I was pleasantly surprised by the survey - though I did make quite a lot of use of 'Other (please specify)' 🙂

Done - made sure to mention the Forum for question 13, where do you go to get advice.....

Done and dusted, mentioned both diabetes forums / websites I use for help.

Survey completed.

Hi Northerner,

Completed! Do you want me to post on the CWD list?🙂Bev

Hi Northerner,

I tried - but as I had already completed it it would only show the registration page?:confused:Bev

As long as you copy the link it should still be available to others. It will be placing a cookie on your own computer so it knows that you have already completed it 🙂

done it, as others have said I'd like more space to voice a more detailed opinion...

I don't know what they will make of my answers. I did try to fill in the "other" boxes in some detail, pointing out that whilst I was treated as a T2 I got no help nor support. After I was re-diagnosed T1 there was a dramatic change in the way I was treated & I received both education and more support. I also pointed out that the internet and forums in particular had been invaluable.

Completed. Like others it would have been nice to have been able to make a few comments.
