I bought a copy ages ago. it is very useful, I keep having a dip into it for stuff.

well i have finished the book its great highly recommened to anyone pity i didnt have this book years ago

I bought this book as soon as I was diagnosed and have had a read at some of the chapters. Overall it looks goodm easy to read and understand and a good layout style so you can read sections without feeling you are missing something.

The only issue I have is the fact that it seems to echo the NHS opinion that Type 2's should not be encouraged to self monitor on a regular basis.

Other than that, I think it's a really useful reference book and I've left it handy for the other half to try and get a grips with my current obsession re testing, testing, testing!

I have just bought this book and am quite impressed with it. Bit shocked to read that by taking two drugs together they cause diabetes as I am on both those drugs. Mmmmm, too late now and it explains why one doc said he would probably take me off the beta blockers the hospital put me on and switch me to an acer inhibitor. Ah well.

Still, back to the book, it is good and the title is spot on for me!

Just got my Diabetes for Dummies Cookbook. From a brief look, it looks good.
