Hi, I am still diabetes 2, doctor took me off metformin as it was effecting my kidneys so I am now on 2 Gliclazide per day.
Can anyone please tell me where I can get a diabetic 2 id card.
My very best wishes for 2025

You could just get a piece of card and write whatever it is you want to write down on it and put in your wallet?

You can get them (£5) from the Diabetes UK on-line shop. Also, I wear a 'medical alert' bracelet when I'm out, as I don't want to rely on people searching through my wallet in an emergency.

An insulin id card is inappropriate when only on 2 gliclazide per day

Agree with @Lucyr that card is not appropriate but you can get one which is customisable from the same people who do the sunflower lanyards at airports when travelling

You can get medical bracelets quite cheap on amazon and Etsy. I have this one for when I go out, I haven't had any hypos yet but there's always a chance.

I think we first need to work out why the person wants a card before we can offer suggestions as to what is appropriate.

Or some sort of other diabetes card?
