Dexcom G6 - Do I wait for the setup call or setup on my own?

Strange one that @Bloden

Maybe have a small snack also before setting off on afternoon walk.

We were told not to because the system would automatically give more insulin. But I agree with you - a small snack, which then gets used up by the body during the walk. I’m sure I’ll find a solution. I was hoping the HCL wouldn’t be as quirky as this, just get on with the job. Oh well...🙂 🙂

How are you getting on @PhoebeC - I seem to have hijacked your thread, oops.

@Bloden don't worry about it at all.

I text my nurse yesterday because I am so fed up with it and with all the lows I haven't got the mental ability to work out what's going on, he will give me a call tomorrow.

When we walked the dog last night I was so worried I would have another hypo I had 2 biscuits then I ended up at 20!
I am still 74% in range for the week, but the lows are taking up so much effort, and food to keep me in range.

Again low this morning after breakfast, on the dog walk. I'd put exercise mode in advance and he was so busy sniffing it wasn't a very active walk, only out for half an hour, was 8.7 leaving home. That shouldn't happen for me.

@helli as you say because on the O5 there is only one different mode when in HCL which is "exercise" and that only works for some exercise and no other factors I don't think HCL is working for me, I had 4 settings on my Dash. Normal, period (lower), higher (ovulation) and rugby (match days), normal was my setting for 2-3 weeks of the month, a few days on period or lower, and then match days considered not wanting to low before warm up, high during playing, and low overnight / early next day.

As you can see here agin with the red bat my insulin has been off again for hours this morning.
I had my usual breakfast all measured and 50g carbs, I don’t think my carb ratio for breakfast has magically changed as it was paused before breakfast (little blue medication icon) insulin and then again it’s off hours later.
Bored of it.
