Hello diabetes support users,

My Name is Chris Wood and I am a final year student at Loughborough University, studying Industrial Design.

I am currently undertaking a design project to create a blood glucose monitoring kit that is designed for outdoor use in adventurous and harsh environments, mainly targeting a sporting context.

As a result, I would like to gain insights and opinions of the diabetic community who feel that they have experienced testing in the described environment by asking you to complete a short questionnaire.

I understand that this is not the intended function of these forums, however I have received permission from the site administrators as I feel your input would be invaluable to this project.

If you would like to complete the questionnaire or would like further information before deciding, please follow the link provided:

Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and thank you in advance for anybody who responds to the questionnaire.

Chris

You should ask people in MAD (Mountains for Active Diabetics) Facebook group. Protecting meters from extremes of temperature and knocks is a frequent conversation topic.

Please give Chris somthing to work on ! You never know whats around the corner !! 🙂🙂
