Dentist appointment impact on glucose?

I once had the worst hypo ever in the dentist. Some anaesthetics they inject contain adrenalin and that will prompt a hypo. Ensure you tell the dentist you are T1 and must not have the injections that contain adrenalin - there are others that are safe. At the time I had the awful hypo I had just had a filling done with said pain killer. I was shocked that not one member of staff knew what to do. As usual I had a supply of glucose tabs but was having difficulty getting them out of my bag and could barely speak. All they offered was a glass of water. In the end with a lot of effort I managed to tell them to get the glucose tabs.

Thanks @PattiEvans. Very useful info. I shall check next time as I need to drive to my appointments and have had the odd difficulty before.
