I'm also going on a Dafne course on Monday the 3rd October. I'm really looking forward to it as it will be a time to better understand how carbs affect my blood sugars, I mean I have had diabetes a long time and I still need help sometimes!
The Dafne course will be brilliant for anyone whose interested in it I think because I have been told that every diabetic who has attended the course at my local PCT has found it beneficial in one way or another and this is always a good sign.
Oh and I have been told that at my local PCT, they write your blood sugars onto a over head projector acetate thingy and everyone has a go at problem solving everyone else's blood sugars....hahhaha I can't wait!
Sorry! Looks like I posted in the wrong place again!!!
