I mentioned before that I love crackers but my BS spikes. I've now found some that don't. Quite small but tasty. Peters Yard sourdough crispbread with spelt and fig. Yay cheese and crackers again !

I love those too. Found them sold locally in a little deli. Perfect. Others that seem to work fine for me are ones made by Millers Harvest. Had the 3 nut ones (fab) and now on 3 fruit with Apple, dates and sultanas through them - great with some strong cheddar

i love cheese and crackers how many can you have and what cheese please
Toffee I eat any kind of Cheese except the ones with the fruit in etc.
Most cheese has zero carbs but the fruited oens do contain carbs and anyway they are really not so nice.
Avoid the crackers though BUT Pickled onions have a very low carb content and I love pickles also.

Wonderful Toffee
You can give some to me:D
I love homemade Chutneys and Pickles
Keep it
A very little shouldn't do you any harm at all. Homemade, you know what is in them which is always a plus also. Just watch the carbs and sugar Toffee.
The pickles should be fine I checked those previously and all was good.
The Chutney with fruit may be a little risky but a very little is worth testing.
Different foods can have differing results on different people.
Everyone is different in the World of Diabetes.
You need try and test your BG 2 hours after eating to determine whether or not you can tolerate certains things.
It really does get easier as time goes by and you understand this thing called Diabetes.

To go with cheese, these are the most delicious oatcakes I’ve found. Chilli ones and they are better than any others I’ve tried. There’s 15 in a pack so I calculate them at 6 grams of carb each but 2 oatcakes are still less than a slice of bread.
