Hi.
Does anyone find their fingers get really cracked?
I have about 5 cracks or splits right now, and they are so sore, they are affecting what I do. It doesn't seem to matter how much hand cream I use, they just keep on splitting. I use Germolene New Skin to cover the splits and cracks but recently that just doesn't seem to be enough.
All hints and tips very welcome!

Welcome.
I sometimes get cracked hands but i did before Diabetes. I use Neutrogenna handcream and apply it often when it is bad.

I get chapped hands a lot, and the Body Shop hemp hand cream is brilliant.
May also be worth popping into a pharmacy and asking the pharmacist what they recommend

It sounds as though your hands are quite bad. As nothing you have tried is helping, imo it would be a good idea to let your gp see them.

Thank you all. Yes, I have been to see a pharmacist. And I will be going to see my GP, but I was curious to know if this is common. They don't look awfully bad, but I'm finding it hard as an administrator to type and write. And pick things up. And put my earrings in. And being on anticoagulant medication for a clot also means things bleed more than usual.
Sad old thing I am!! 🙂
