Hi Everyone, Just wanted to say I have just got a call to invite me for my 1st Covid vaccine on Monday. To say I am delighted is an understatement. I had Covid last April and was really not well at all. I ended up with Long Covid and in November was informed I had Type 2 diabetes, this may have been brought on by having had Covid. I put my phone down and had a cry, it’s been a long hard year, take care xx I will let you know how it goes

just remember when you get the vaccine to practice hygiene standards, social distancing and mask wearing. getting the vaccine doesn't stop you getting covid or passing it on, it means that you will be able to better fight the virus should you get it again. i am glad that you are getting it done and the long wait is over for you. covid is a very nasty thing as i found out when my partner got it.

So pleased for you and hoping that 2021 is a much better year for you. Sometimes a good cry is just what you need.
