Only just seen this thread. I am really sorry to read about your partner catching Covid in hospital, my father caught it in hospital back in October. I hope your partner continues to improve.

oh by the way forgot those pesky text from test and trace have restarted oh god here we go again.
Not sure test and trace is any good as I go to bed every night next to my wife, who's covid positive, but my phone has never warned me that I have been in contact, how much closer can you get.

(Our phones are 6ft apart on bedside tables)

partner Tee just having xmas dinner while i sit here with a poxy ready meal.

was talking to step sister when got an emergency call scared me silly only to find out Tee pendent was activated in hospital set the telecare system off.

one way to brighten the day up at least things are looking a bit better than the gloomy start to last week.

many thanks for all the lovely kind replies.

Mikeydt1. I particularly feel your upset and only wish that(as I am sure many on these pages do) you are both reunited safely soon. I regret that C-19 has kept so many of us apart from our loved ones! We must remember that you can't take Christmas away as it is to celebrate the birth of a baby - I am sure that when your partner is well and home, you will have much to celebrate including that you have missed !
As for tap:confused: and trace😡....!!! not even going their..!

i wish every day Barbara been 3 weeks now. not the longest stroke was 3 months but at least back then you could see your loved ones not like now. so many people in this situation.

I think it is hard for all particularly at this time of the year Xmas aside. Long nights, dark days, cold and damp all play there part in making it tough I'm sorry to say, and when you have all the worry of the love of your life fighting the C-19 not being their is verrrry tough. Thankfully the wonderful nurses, doctors, and auxiliary's are and can do so much more than you or I can! so tough as it is we must keep safe, watch and take care of your diabetes carrying on looking after that we can.

I have only just caught up with this. So sorry to hear about what you are going through. Sending love and I hope your partner will soon be home with you.x

many thanks flutterby spoke to the hospital today and not much to report.

beginning to know how Kate Galloway (sorry for the spelling) feels hers has been ongoing for ages.

bit worried that i am up there on Tuesday with the virus running rife.

I totally understand your concern, I have to go to our hospital on the 14th to be fitted with a 72 hour ECG. Its on my mind. I think the main danger is on wards as you have sadly discovered. I was fortunate to escape it during my time in A&E and the stroke ward in October. I am thinking of you.
