For those who have had it, how did you feel after it? How did you react to it? Did your BS go up? I am due first dose on Monday

Now had both and no problems whatsoever.

I had the AZ, I felt nothing til 3.30am, when I woke up shivery (temperature going up, I assume). Woke up again at 4.30 feeling sweaty (temperature coming down). Was a bit tired the following morning, and fell asleep for an hour after lunch. Woke up at 4pm feeling absolutely fine. No sore arm at all. I had to put my basal up by 25%for a couple of days, and be a bit more generous with the bolus, but then it settled again.
A few days later, my tonsils were really sore and swollen, and only improved gradually over a couple of weeks, although I felt completely well. Again. I had to put Basal up, and it’s still a bit higher than normal,(6 units of Levemir during the day, instead of 5, 3.5 at night instead of 3) I’ve no idea whether this was a reaction to the jab, or whether I picked up an infection at the centre, or in the busy supermarket next door that I visited on the way home.

I had Pfizer on 10th Dec, few days after, for about a week I had high BG and unable to bring them down much. Had a painful arm around injection site. Felt fine. Had 2nd injection 10th Feb and had no issues at all.

I had the A Z. I felt rough for around three days. My BGs behaved themselves.
I have heard that if you are going to have any after effects ( hopefully you won’t)
A z is is worst on the first jab.
The Other one can be worse on the second jab.
