Hi, I'm still new to all this. Thanks to some really helpful advice from forum members I am now in possession of Gretchen Becker's book and the excellent Carbs And Cals book. I have also got my FreeStyle Lite meter from Abbotts and am using the copilot software to keep a record of my readings. I'm T2 and taking Metformin 500mg twice a day at the moment upping it to three a day as from next Saturday. Just a couple of questions. i am having difficulty trying to find a definitive answer to target mmol/L ranges for the different times of day. In particular what is the target range for the Bedtime reading?
Am I correct with these figures
Fasting/Pre breakfast 3.9 - 5.5
Pre meals 4 - 7
2 houirs after meals 5 - 10
We normally eat about 6.00 - 6.30 pm. so I test at 8.00pm - 8.30pm. So the bedtime test is done about 11.00pm. What should I be aiming for with the bedtime test?
